About The Artist

I paint quiet moments inspired by the beauty found in everyday life.

I've been creating art for as long as I can remember.

After earning a degree in Graphic Design with a focus in painting, my creative career took me into graphic and user experience design. But painting always had a way of calling me back.

Today I paint from my home studio in St. Augustine, inspired by early mornings at the beach, coastal landscapes, local wildlife, flowers, and the quiet details that are so easy to overlook.

For me, painting isn't about recreating a scene exactly as it appears. It's about preserving a feeling.

"Life can feel so busy. I hope my artwork gives people a place to take a deep breath and pause."

What inspires Me

My inspiration comes from the world around me and the moments that invite us to slow down and notice them.

You'll find all kinds of subjects throughout my work, coastal scenes, flowers, wildlife, landscapes, seasonal traditions, and quiet moments from everyday life. Rather than focusing on one style or subject, I enjoy following whatever captures my attention and curiosity. Each painting reflects a moment that felt worth holding onto.

Many mornings begin with a quiet walk through my neighborhood before the rest of the world wakes up. I love the stillness of those early hours, the softer light, the birds beginning their day, and the feeling that, for just a little while, everything is unhurried. Whether I'm walking through my neighborhood, visiting the beach, or exploring somewhere new, I find inspiration in the small details that are so easy to pass by.

Those moments inevitably find their way into my paintings.

My Process

I first started painting with acrylics and later discovering watercolor, a medium that completely changed the way I paint. After becoming a mom, I found myself drawn to watercolor because it fit into the small pockets of creative time I had. Following guided lessons helped me explore the medium with confidence, and over time those lessons became the foundation for finding my own voice.

Watercolor has a mind of its own, and that's part of what I love most about it.

Each painting begins with careful observation, but I leave room for the unexpected. Layer by layer, the colors build, the water moves, and the painting slowly reveals itself.

It's a process that asks for patience, something I continue to learn from every time I sit down to paint.
